Beautiful Skogafoss Waterfall in Iceland at Autumn Daylight Youth T-Shirt

Skogafoss is one of the biggest and most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland.

We visited this waterfall three times during our Autumn road trip across the island. Unlike our previous afternoon there, this morning the weather was bright and sunny. The warm sunlight illuminated the beautiful yellow tones of the grass field creating a wonderful golden light all over the place. Since we were there very early in the morning to catch the first light we had this otherwise crowded place, almost all by ourselves!

As you can see at the top right of the waterfall there is also a vantage point. If you climb the 370 steps to the top of you’ll be rewarded with an awe-inspiring view out over south Iceland’s coastline. This is also the start of the Fimmvorduhals pass, a popular hiking route.

No wonder why this beautiful waterfall is such a famous travel destination!
