Woah! Cool capture! I love how the blocks are large and spaced out at the bottom of the image and then progressively get smaller and more dense as you look up!

Artist's Description

In this photo you can see a part of the interior of Harpa concert hall and conference centre in Reykjavík, Iceland which was built in 2011. Although we had only a day to spend in Reykjavik we couldn’t miss this iconic building which attracts many tourists from all over the world. We spent over an hour there photographing the abstract shapes and the patterns formatted by these structures created with glass and steel! For the record The main designers of Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre are the Danish architectural firm Henning Larsen Architects and the Icelandic architectural firm Batteríið Architects. The iconic glass facades you see in this photo were designed to recall the basalt columns commonly found in the country. About Alexios Ntounas

Alexios Ntounas

Hey! I am Ntounas Alexios, born in Thessaloniki, Greece. I am a software engineer and in the past few years I became passionate about photography. I always enjoyed travelling and exploring new places. With my photos I can share those experiences with the rest of the world. Photography is a good reason to wake up early to capture a sunrise, to stay out late to photograph the milky way or to wait for the perfect light. In the end its all about being out in nature capturing the perfect moment. Landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes and astrophotography are my favorite genres of photography. My photographs have been published in Greek magazines and I have participated in various photography exhibitions.
