This little path at the edge of a hillside above the sea is one of my favorite places for walking. It is located in the municipality of Kalamaria of Thessaloniki in Greece. I love both walking and biking via this little road. It is high above the sea and as you can see it offers an amazing view. Combine that with a vibrant sunset and you have a great place to enjoy your evening. There are also a few pine trees there creating a little but really nice grove.
That day the clouds were painted with beautiful yellow and orange tones by the setting sun. The cloudscape was reflected in the calm sea creating a pandemonium of colors. There were also a couple of boats sailing in the Thermaic gulf.
No wonder why whenever I pass from this place there are people staring at the sea. On a clear day you can even see mount Olympus. The highest mountain of Greece.
Hey! I am Ntounas Alexios, born in Thessaloniki, Greece. I am a software engineer and in the past few years I became passionate about photography. I always enjoyed travelling and exploring new places. With my photos I can share those experiences with the rest of the world. Photography is a good reason to wake up early to capture a sunrise, to stay out late to photograph the milky way or to wait for the perfect light. In the end its all about being out in nature capturing the perfect moment. Landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes and astrophotography are my favorite genres of photography. My photographs have been published in Greek magazines and I have participated in various photography exhibitions.
