Artist's Description
A row of colorful beach umbrellas lines the edge of a sandy shore, with clear turquoise waters beyond them. The contrast between the vibrant hues of the umbrellas and the natural tones of sand and sea creates a serene yet lively scene.
Egremni or Egremnoi is a remote beach located on the south-western coast of the Ionian island of Lefkada, north-western Greece. It is voted among best ten beaches of the world almost every year.
After the 2015 earthquake you are able access the beach only by boat. I got there before the earthquake so I had the pleasure to climb up and down 300+ stairs to reach the beach. The view was amazing ! Besides that the water has a wonderful turquoise color and which matches perfectly the golden sand. An ideal summer vacation location!

Hey! I am Ntounas Alexios, born in Thessaloniki, Greece. I am a software engineer and in the past few years I became passionate about photography. I always enjoyed travelling and exploring new places. With my photos I can share those experiences with the rest of the world. Photography is a good reason to wake up early to capture a sunrise, to stay out late to photograph the milky way or to wait for the perfect light. In the end its all about being out in nature capturing the perfect moment. Landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes and astrophotography are my favorite genres of photography. My photographs have been published in Greek magazines and I have participated in various photography exhibitions.
