A perfect reflection of Kirkjufell mountain in Iceland into calm water. Kirkjufell (church mountain in Icelandic) is a 463m high mountain on the north coast of Iceland's Snæfellsnes peninsula. It is claimed to be the most photographed mountain in the country.
It is easily accessible since you leave your car in the near parking lot and after a short hike you get to Kirkjufellsfoss waterfalls. If you walk further away you will find this small lake which if there is no wind will give you a perfect reflection of this beautiful mountain! Another epic vista of Iceland! This photo was taken at autumn thus you can see the brown tones of the grass and the moss. The water in the lake was that clear that you can even see the rocks at the bottom. If you are lucky and you get a great sunset or sunrise you might leave with some awesome photos and an unforgettable experience. Be prepared though because usually there are a lot of tourists and photographers who enjoy this perfect natural scenery!
