Description
This is one of my favourite locations in Thessaloniki in Greece. I just love the view from this hill. You can view the Thermaic gulf and on a clear day you can also view Mount Olympus, the tallest mountain in Greece. And since you get a west view you have the opportunity to witness some amazing sunsets!
At first I photographed just the silhouette of this pine tree overlooking the sea. I really liked its curvy trunk and pine needles as they appeared in this silhouette photo. The sun had just set behind the mountain range and the sky was full of vibrant colours. A wonderful contrast to the black colour of the silhouette. That’s when I thought to photograph myself as well, next to the lone tree. So, I set up my camera to take some photos and went next to the tree to enjoy this wonderful sunset!
