The first full moon of August 2023, also known as the Sturgeon Moon, rises above the Aegean Sea in this stunning photo.The reflection of the moon makes a shimmering path across the waves. The dark blue sea excellently complements the clear sky's bright blue tone.

This image was captured at Halkidiki, Greece. Sitting on the beach I was expecting the supermoon to rise. I love the moon's warm shimmering light in the water! Nighttime scenes like this one have something magical and romantic, don’t you think?!
