Description
The tree in this photograph stands out from the rest of the trees in the forest. The sunlight found its way through the dense foliage and shines directly on its leaves and trunk. The combination of vibrant green tones and sunlight creates a dreamy atmosphere. Of course, the ground is full with fallen leaves that crack when you step on them.
Walking in the woods in the springtime fills me with energy. It's probably because nature is at its best. The trees' leaves are green, the flowers are blooming, and the birds are singing.
The photograph was taken at Chortiatis mountain, about a half-hour drive from Thessaloniki. I like walking there because it gets me away from the city noise. It's just me and nature.
