Artist's Description

Autumn is an amazing season to visit a forest with deciduous trees. The fall colors in all their glory create an amazing scene. The leaves are changing colors turning from green into yellow, orange and red tones. Those who have already fallen from the trees create a colorful carpet on which is a pleasure to walk on. Fall foliage at its best!

This forest with beech and alder trees is located in Chortiatis mountain close to the city of Thessaloniki in Greece. It is a great location to enjoy a walk in nature. I visited this forest this November and hiked the path leading to the Refugee ATT Chortiatis. A beautiful path full of trees of the Fagus family. The path would be great for mountain biking as well. Maybe next time!
