While I was on vacation last summer a severe thunderstorm broke out at Kassandra in Chalkidiki. Multiple lightning were breaking through the clouds turning day into night. This photo is a combination of multiple lightning bolts hitting the ground behind the forest. Unfortunately lightning sparked fire to the forest. Thankfully the fire service was prepared and being on patrol all night with the help of the locals managed to set the fire quickly under control.

Nevertheless, so many thunders illuminating the night sky is a kind of beautiful and at the same time horrifying thing to see. The dark clouds turn into vibrant orange tones while the thunder unleashes its power. Thankfully I was watching from a distance and under a shelter.
