A lonely tree is always interesting to photograph, at least for me! I love the minimalism in such photos.

In this photo you can see the silhouette of a leafless tree standing at the top of a grass hill. The sun is about to set outside of the frame which gives this wonderful warm light to the whole picture. The sky is almost clear. There is only a little cloud just above the tree, although it is hard to distinguish it.

This tree is located outside the city of Thessaloniki in Greece. I see it many times while driving and this winter afternoon I thought to give it a try and take a photo. Since it was winter it was really cold outside but the whole scene was really calm and serene that I enjoyed taking pictures.
