Skaftafellsjokull is a glacier tongue of the Vatnajokull glacier located in Southern Iceland. It is part of the Skaftafell National Park. Here you can see two glacier tongues of the largest glacier in Europe. Over the last decade, Skaftafellsjökull has been receding dramatically showing the effects of global warning. In this photo the setting sun was filling the clouds with beautiful warm tones.

Hey! I am Ntounas Alexios, born in Thessaloniki, Greece. I am a software engineer and in the past few years I became passionate about photography.
