Description
Less is more was the motto of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, a proponent of minimalism in architecture. He used this phrase to describe his aesthetic of arranging the necessary components of a building to create an impression of extreme simplicity.
The idea behind this expression is that sometimes something simple is better than something advanced or complicated. Nowadays many designers use this expression as a philosophy or inspiration to design things that are simple, yet beautiful. This allows you to focus only on what matters.
